An abandoned bicycle was reported at the 1400 block of South Broadway, Wednesday morning.
According to a police report, an abandoned bicycle was found under a tree in the park.

The police blotter is boring, and not just because of the events (or non-events). I mean, look at this item from the Arcata Eye:
8:49 a.m. A hirsute, heavily dressed man is often seen meandering, apparently aimlessly, on Bayside Road, sometime stopping to stare off into the distance for extended periods. A close reading of the Constitution indicates that this is still legal.
