    Right, and Fielding condemns Cibber for murder (of English), the rubber band is patented, and Woody Woodpecker dies.

    I’m reposting last year’s date entries, after making certain the links still work. Maybe I’ll add Fielding, the rubber band, and Woody Woodpecker next year, if I can find interesting links for them.

    I stopped doing these in mid-August, but I’m hoping to have an entire year’s worth by next March.
