When they came to town a couple years ago, they brought a T-feckin-Rex, not a worm-thing. Here is the start of the GWARticle I wrote for the free local weekly, which probably contributed greatly to its demise:

GWAR (”nape of the neck” in Welsh) have entertained appreciative audiences for decades with their Celtic-inspired acoustic songs of love and longing. This rare event, including an audience fashion show with prizes and a bake sale to raise funds for homeless kittens and puppies and Republican congressional candidate Tim Johnson, is certain to be fun for the whole family. Be sure to wear your Sunday best to the Canopy Club on November 3!
