Does anyone in Chambana know where I can get these locally? Although they are inexplicably shaped like little roast chickens, they taste of tamarind and chili pepper, and well, yum. And they’re shaped like little roast chickens.
Or I suppose I could just purchase a big bag of them online. But you know how that is. It might lead to buying more items, because it seems stupid to get just one four-dollar bag of something shipped.
They were easy enough to find in Chicago, where another Rocky Horror cast member introduced them to me. Yes, I was involved in Rocky Horror for awhile, back in the olden days, when men were women, women were men, and fishnet stockings were comfy. I was a bridesmaid (?) in a tux at an actual wedding, right in the movie theatre. Several years later, in Boston, I acted as my brother’s best man (?), and his bachelor party was a Rocky Horror show. But I wore a gown for that wedding. Look, I need me some Pollito Asado, stat.
