Part of me thinks this is really creepy but can’t figure out exactly why. And another part of me wouldn’t mind having real cha xiu bao again someday. Haven’t eaten anything with four legs in eighteen months, and no, that doesn’t mean I’ve resorted to offing the neighbours for barbecue.
Which brings to mind the question: if meat can be grown in vats, what’s to stop us from eating vat-grown human meat, huh?I mean, is that ethically any different (in this hypothetical situation) from eating meat from a different animal?
