Gary Strater, Starcastle bassist, is currently wrestling with cancer of the pancreas. A musician and sound engineer with no medical insurance, his medical bills currently total more than $36,000.00 with no end in sight. He has had to give up playing gigs as his guitar rests right over the tumor and causes great pain, and he cannot fully inflate his diaphragm to sing. The lesions in his liver cause him to feel constant nausea. But Gary has retained his sense of humor and is fighting for his life. You can help by showing up and enjoying great music, buying raffle tickets, and making donations to his medical fund.
