CATSKILLS IRISH ARTS WEEK

A comment on IRTRAD-L on this July event:

It’s a terrific week — there are classes during the day and you can sign up for both morning and afternoon, or just for half days if you prefer (morning or afternoon). Those classes include music classes for all instruments and levels, and step dance classes for dancers. Every night from 7-9pm there’s a concert given by some of the instructors. Then every night after the concert there’s organized sessions for musicians (at every level), and a ceili (set dancing) for dancers, and a “listening” room where anybody can go listen to a small group of teachers play (not a session). It’s all the dancing or music that you can handle, and more, for five days.
