GREEN MAN REVIEW

GMR provides in-depth reviews of books, printed and audio, in fiction (such as the wonderful novels of Emma Bull, Will Shetterly. Kage Baker, Jane Yolen, Neil Gaiman, Charles Stross, Sean Stewart, Terri Windling, Alan Garner, Charles de Lint, Ellen Kushner, and Pamela Dean), and non-fiction (biographies of folks who fit within our folk motif, folktales, folklore, cooking (historical and actual), musiclore, and related non-fiction.)

… Our musical focus, whether CDs or live performances, is folk music in all its aspects from really hardcore trad to the latest innovations, whether it be the Celtic and English traditions or folk rock or world music — even roots music (such as jazz, cajun, English ceilidh, contradance, bluegrass, old-timey, country, and blues). We even do more than a smattering of classical music reviewing.
