WHISTLETUTOR

As you might have guessed, this site focuses on teaching Irish traditional music on the tin whistle. The beginner tutorials are done in Macromedia Flash, RealAudio/RealVideo, and Windows Media, so you need to have those plug-ins installed in your web browser in order to use the lessons.

IRISHTUNES.NET

Irishtunes.net is a free collection of traditional and contemporary Irish dance tunes. Each tune is available as a printable image as well as .abc notation (see the links page for more on .abc.) With this site, I have tried to bring mostly new compositions and rare tunes to the internet, many of which have never been transcribed.
